Wow, what a fantastic turn out and a great day.
Saturday 17th December saw some awesome racing from our junior squad members, some first time racers and a few seasoned eventers. Nicholls Swim Acadmey Little League swim carnivals are becoming more and more popular, and are a fantastic way to let swimmers experience racing in a no pressure environment. Swimming is one of the few sports that children are involved in where there is a lot of practice and only a few chances to “play the game”, the Little League Swim Days are “game time”!.
Yesterday we had a slight Christmas theme to the day and children where invited to enter in the Crazy Hat competition. Our inaugural winner was Emma Smith, who received a Plaza gift voucher – well done Emma.
Children also took up the opportunity to have a go at some Aquarobics, huge thanks to Harriet for putting on a fun performance for the swimmers (and parents) to have some laughs and try something new.
Remember Nicholls Swim Academy will have a different learn to swim and squad training programme through January, contact us if you need more information.
Lastly, Merry Christmas everyone!
